Travis Smith

Travis F. Smith is the owner of Hop Studios, a Vancouver-based Web design and development company building sites since 2004. Smith was one of the creators of the Los Angeles Times website, and was the editor of Variety.com. His firm recently launched YVRLocal.Delivery, a free site that lists local businesses that are switching business models in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Trish Kelly

Trish Kelly is an Inclusion and Accessibility Consultant and project lead on the Disability Inclusive Employer Self-Assessment Tool. Developed by Open Door Group and Presidents Group, two non-profits committed to improving employment for people with disabilities in Canada, the free online tool that helps employers assess their accessibility practices and provides a report featuring resources that can help them improve.

Wanda Deschamps

Wanda Deschamps is founder and principal of Liberty Co, a consultancy working to increase the participation level of the neurodiverse population in the workforce with a special emphasis on autism due to Wanda's own diagnosis at midlife.

A champion for inclusion, she enjoys speaking and writing under the banner of the #InclusionRevolution, a worldwide movement launched in 2018 to spearhead broader thinking about disability - especially disability employment. She is also the catalyst behind the #Women4Women collective focused on gender equality through supporting other women. Combining these two goals provides an avenue for Wanda to be an advocate for autistic women, including as an advisor and participant in research into autistic women's experiences in the workplace.

Outside of work she relishes time with family and friends, exercising, and reading biographies, as well as books about history and current affairs. Wanda lives in Waterloo, Ontario with her husband and two sons.

Warren Thompson

Warren has 10 years of experience working as a client-side marketer. In his last role, as Director of Marketing & Events at Kintec: Footwear + Orthotics, he built a cross-functional marketing team of seven while achieving a 137% increase in YOY e-commerce revenue growth in 2017. When he’s not working with Ollo Metrics clients he teaches digital marketing classes at BrainStation in Vancouver, BC.

WorkSafeBC is dedicated to promoting workplace health and safety for the workers and employers of this province. We consult with and educate employers and workers and monitor compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation.

Yat Li

Yat was born with bilateral microtia, a congenital condition in which the outer ears are underdeveloped. Yat cannot wear conventional hearing aids and has profound bilateral conductive hearing loss. Despite a physical disability, he has overcome barriers to inspire others in the community. Wearing prosthetic ears and a bone-anchored hearing aid, Yat is a communication accessibility advocate. Over the past three years, Yat has spoken at over 100 national and local events about his lived experience, accessibility, and social change. While working at Wavefront Centre for Communication Accessibility, Yat spearheaded numerous brand awareness campaigns to increase communication accessibility. From hosting national webinars to local events, with American Sign Language and captions, Yat is committed to removing barriers for all persons with disabilities.

To complement his passion for accessibility, he is a committee member for the Access Transit User’s Advisory Committee, advising TransLink on improvements to the accessibility of our conventional transit services. Yat is also appointed by the Vancouver City Council to the Persons with Disability Advisory Committee and serves on the transportation subcommittee. Previously, Yat served on the Board of Directors of AssistList. Currently, Yat is the Associate Director of Accessible Employers.

Yvonne Bayer-Cheung

Yvonne Bayer-Cheung is the Client Services Manager at Small Business BC. A passionate entrepreneur, business strategist and advisor, Yvonne has a diverse range of experience in management and leadership, marketing, operations and financial lending. She was most recently a Business Advisor at the Women's Enterprise Centre of Manitoba (WECM), contributing to their community for three years.

She has launched over a dozen restaurants in Manitoba and Ontario including the branding, operations, and franchise development of Za Pizza Bistro. As a solopreneur, Yvonne has successfully pivoted her fitness business of 10 years, Yvonne’s Fitness where she markets and teaches virtual fitness classes to clients from around the world. She has an International MBA specializing in Marketing and Finance from York University and worked in China as the General Manager for the Canada China Business Council as well as the Director of Membership and Business Services in Toronto.
