Welcome to Preventing Violence in the Workplace
This course is designed to raise awareness about violence and domestic violence in the workplace. It offers basic information on workplace and domestic violence forms, signs, risks, hazards and prevention strategies. We’ll also provide a list of helpful resources and best practices you can refer to down the line.

By the end of the course, you will be able to:
Describe what workplace violence is and recognize it in its various forms
Identify the risk factors that increase the chance of workplace violence
Implement violence prevention program to reduce risks of workplace violence
Describe what is domestic violence and recognize its different forms
Detect when employees are exhibiting signs of domestic abuse
Discuss how domestic violence affect workers’ performance at work
Utilize strategies to talk to the victim about domestic violence
List strategies to prevent domestic violence from occurring
Differentiate between an immediate and non immediate threat and apply the correct actions for each situation
