As STC in Brussels, Michelle leads a dedicated Trade Commissioner team supporting Canadian companies to access networks and opportunities in Belgium and Luxembourg. Priority sectors include cleantech and digital technologies and support is offered across the business development spectrum – trade, innovation and investment attraction. Born in the U.K., raised in Western/Central Canada and South Africa; Michelle has spent half of her career in Europe (U.K.) helping Canadian companies take advantage of strong bilateral ties and free trade agreements.  A University of Guelph graduate with a passion for promoting Canada abroad and helping SMEs connect & grow.
