Futurpreneur Canada (formerly CYBF) has been fueling the entrepreneurial passions of Canada’s young enterprise for nearly two decades. They are the only national, non-profit organization that provides financing, mentoring and support tools to aspiring business owners aged 18-39. Their internationally recognized mentoring program hand matches young entrepreneurs with a business expert from a network of more than 3,400 volunteer mentors.

With a local office in Vancouver, they provide specific pre- and post- launch support for entrepreneurs aged 18-39 that are ready to start their business or who have been operating their business for under one year full time. The financing is a low-interest character-based loan up to $45,000, and each Futurpreneur is hand-matched one-on-one with a business mentor for a period of two years. Their volunteer mentors are entrepreneurs in their own right, and/or experts in a professional industry.

Futurpreneur Canada is a founding member of the G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance, the Canadian member of The Prince’s Youth Business International, and the Canadian host of Global Entrepreneurship Week (ca.gew.co). www.futurpreneur.ca.   facebook.com/Futurpreneur    @FuturpreneurBC
