Are you an entrepreneur and self-identify with a disability or ongoing health condition? The Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program through Community Futures can provide financial assistance to cover the cost of Small Business BC’s advisory or education fees.

To apply, clients must fill out an client intake form. Applications will be reviewed by Community Futures and will take 3-5 business days to process.

Qualified applicants will be eligible for free access to Small Business BC’s advisory services and education. Learn more about what’s available at Small Business BC:

About the Program

The Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program through Community Futures is designed to make it easier for entrepreneurs with disabilities or ongoing health conditions to pursue their business goals by providing access to a network of business professionals and resources.  Self-employment provides flexible hours, personalized work environments and economic inclusion for individuals who have a viable business idea and are ready, willing and motivated to run their own business.

Program Eligibility

To qualify for the Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program you must:

  • Self-declare a disability or ongoing health issue
  • Have a viable business idea and have demonstrated commitment through research, learning and planning
  • Be ready, willing and motivated to run your own business
  • Need additional support to build your business future.
