How Businesses Can Contribute to Economic Reconciliation

Description

Don’t let uncertainty about where to begin prevent you from engaging in meaningful reconciliation. Join us to deepen your understanding of reconciliation and how your business can participate. Learn how reconciliation can create a better workplace for all.

Ariana Fotinakis and Vanessa Lesperance of Decolonize and Rize will share about the Truth & Reconciliation Commission of Canada​ (TRC) and its 2015 report containing 94 Calls to Action​. This session will focus on Call to Action #92 – Business and Reconciliation.

What Will I Learn?

  • Identify economic reconciliation and its effects on your business and Indigenous communities

  • Understand TRC call to Action #92 and how the business community can respond

  • Understand practical ways your business can contribute towards economic reconciliation

This session is delivered online via Zoom
