The Export Navigator Pilot (the Pilot), administered on behalf of the Province of British Columbia (the Province) by Small Business BC (SBBC), Community Futures organizations and the Comox Valley Economic Development Society, offers businesses (the Client) access to community-based export specialists (the Export Advisors) who can provide a personalized, step-by-step approach to exporting and help connect businesses to market information, export programs, financial services, and business development experts at every stage of the process.
Acknowledge and Consent to Pilot Requirements
Neither the Province, its partners, suppliers, affiliates, SBBC, the Export Advisors, nor any other party involved in creating, producing or delivering the Export Navigator Pilot is liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or other damages whatsoever, arising out of or in connection with your participation in the Export Navigator Pilot including, but not limited to, business interruption and loss of use, data, information and profits (regardless of the form of action, including but not limited to contract, negligence or other tortious acts).
The Client will participate in a screening and initial assessment interview as part of the Pilot requirements and information from the interview will be used by the Export Advisors to determine the appropriate type of services that the Client will receive. The screening and initial assessment interview will include, but is not limited to a review of the Client’s business, product assessments, and questions about the Client’s export readiness.
If the Client is referred to a third-party service provider as part of the Pilot, information from the screening and initial assessment interview may be shared with the third-party service provider. Referral activities and referral outcomes will be shared by the third-party service provider with the Export Advisors. At the conclusion of the services and/or programs provided by the third-party service provider, the Client may be asked to participate in a post-referral assessment to inform the next steps of the Client’s export process.
The intake process, business needs assessment, export readiness assessment, and additional services provided by the Export Advisors as part of the Pilot will be provided to the Client free of charge.
If the Client is referred to a third-party service provider as part of the Pilot, the Client may be subject to fees administered by the third-party service provider.
