Workplace Road Safety

How to enhance the safety of your employees who drive for work

Description

Did you know that in BC, a vehicle used for work is defined as a workplace? Employers are responsible for providing a safe workplace, including vehicles driven for work – regardless of whether the vehicle is company owned or worker owned.

Join us for this free webinar with Road Safety at Work, a WorkSafeBC-funded program that aims to reduce injuries and deaths among those who drive for work or work at the roadside. Whether you or your staff drive full-time or only drive for work purposes occasionally, you will learn ways to meet your responsibility of keeping drivers safe.

What Will I Learn?

  • Your responsibilities as an employer with employees behind the wheel or at the roadside

  • The basic elements of a workplace road safety plan

  • Resources and tools available to help you build a road-safe workplace
