2021 Small Business BC Award Winners

The winners of the 18th Annual Small Business BC Awards have been announced!

It was a year unlike any other for the SBBC Awards, with our usual Awards Gala making way for a week-long virtual celebration of entrepreneurship and resiliency with Awards Week 2021. Across four days, we announced our six deserving winners, capping a competition that saw 937 award nominations in 88 communities across BC.

The Small Business BC Awards have celebrated the success of small business owners for 18 years, shing a light on the hard-working and dedicated entrepreneurs in our province. Alongside our title sponsors, First West Credit Union, it was our privilege to recognize the hard-working and dedicated entrepreneurs in British Columbia, especially given the unique challenges they have had to navigate these last 12 months.

With six different categories, here are the winners of the 18th Annual Small Business BC Awards:

Congratulations to the winners of the SBBC Awards 2020-2021

The energy and environmental sector are plagued with ineffective and siloed legacy software like spreadsheets and complicated mapping tools that often result in collaboration and visibility challenges between consultants, project managers, and field workers. Matidor eliminates collaboration and visibility challenges by consolidating all key project information on one intuitive, map-based dashboard, with real-time updates that can be shared between multiple parties. With Matidor, all stakeholders can drill down to a specific location with user-friendly GIS tools and key data such as budgets, tasks, and files, making it easy for non-technical users to update and share geospatial information along with critical project details. Our intuitive reporting provides them with peace of mind, with regular deadline reminders and notifications of critical events. Lastly, the ability to share project data and standardize workflows for vendors using our platform facilitates better decision-making and ensures that all projects result in a better environmental footprint and cleaner resource extraction.
