2012-2013 Successful You Awards

Our 10th anniversary occurred in 2013, with our results announced on February 28 at an awards ceremony and networking event at the Pan Pacific Vancouver.

The winners proved their excellence during the course of the rigorous five-month contest. In order to establish that they are truly among the best in BC, each business had to gain votes from the public to be shortlisted to the top ten, then submit an extended application detailing why they deserved to be named one of BC’s best. Once selected as a top five finalist, they then went on to face a panel of judges, pitching their case as to why they should be awarded as a winner.

“The selection process was extremely tough as there are so many strong, smart and innovative businesses in our province,” said then Small Business BC CEO, George Hunter. “We are extremely proud at Small Business BC to help showcase the diverse talent and tremendous determination that exists amongst BC’s entrepreneurs. We congratulate the winners and hope to see even more businesses recognized for their success next year.”

Best Green Business: Gibsons Recycling Depot
