Wireless PnC Inc.

Victoria, Vancouver Island/Coast

Wireless PnC is a Victoria-based women-led cleantech company founded in January 2023 that develops efficient and universal wireless electric vehicle (EV) charging technology in order to promote standardization of low-GHG EV charging and accelerate the adoption of zero-emission transport worldwide. We offer the only universal and adaptable wireless charging compatible with all EVs regardless of brand or battery types. The current products and services we are offering or working on include wireless charging technology for e-bikes, e-scooters and e-cars. Our easily-integrated technology features a patent-pending high-efficiency coil design that can be powered through the existing power grid. The novel circuitry approach in our current model demonstrates ultra-high efficiency approximately 30% better than conventional charging methods. With beta testing and further optimization, we hope to reach a final power transfer efficiency of 95%, providing even greater international market potential for our product.

Business Impact Award

Tell Us Your Story. What motivated you to start your business? Why are you passionate about what you do?

As co-founders of Wireless PnC, we believe that every innovation should positively impact the environment and society. Our passion and drive to start our own green business stemmed at a young age, growing up in one of the top 10 countries responsible for producing the most greenhouse gas emissions. In Iran, road vehicles accounted for 85% of pollutant emissions and there was a pressing need for accessible renewable energy. We wanted to support the transition to electric vehicles (EVs) and we noticed the lack of sustainable alternatives for charging EVs. To address this EV charging scarcity, we both pursued degrees in mechanical engineering and focused on developing technologies for clean energy capture, storage, and transmission. Wireless PnC was incorporated in Victoria in January 2023 with a mission to make EV charging easy and accessible to users, operators, and municipalities. We wanted to ensure that it would be as convenient as pumping tanks at the closest gas station. Therefore, with a talented team of engineers, scientists, and market experts, we have designed a patent-pending wireless charging technology that can universally charge all EV makes and models, regardless of brand or battery type, providing everyone the ability to adopt a more sustainable future of EVs and seamless charging methods on-the-go or in the comfort of their own homes.

Describe and demonstrate, including metrics, your community support. How do you support and uplift your community, and how do they show that support in return? Minimum 25 words, maximum 2500 characters.

Thus far, as a new venture, Wireless PnC has demonstrated our commitment to uplifting our community by employing 4 full-time team members locally in Victoria, fostering economic growth in Victoria. In return, their talents and efforts have been a substantial asset to the team of engineers and scientists Wireless PnC has built. We also choose to collaborate with 3 educational institutions with two institutions in local Victoria itself i:e University of Victoria and Camosun College to enrich the knowledge of their students, and in exchange, they provide us with resources and lab space. We intend to launch our first wireless charging station at Camosun College in the next 3 months, to accommodate students, professors and other staff members. Lastly, we strive for a consistent and active presence in the daily lives of citizens in our community by participating in local events that reflect what we believe in. Our community has responded positively to our knowledge assimilation and have been providing feedback to help optimize our technology.
