What motivated you to start your business and what is your vision for the future of the company?

Operating Pentland’s Prosthetics & Orthotics Clinic was driven by a deep commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals facing physical and mental challenges. As the third owner and a third-generation caretaker of this legacy, my motivation stems from a profound desire to extend compassionate and effective care to those in need. Our clinic is more than a healthcare provider; it represents a sanctuary where clients are treated with the highest regard for their personal journeys and aspirations. From its inception, Pentland’s has been instrumental in helping thousands of individuals across British Columbia achieve their life goals. Each client's success story is a testament to the pivotal role we play in their lives, not just as medical professionals, but as partners in their journey towards empowerment and independence. Our approach combines the expertise of our staff—orthotists, prosthetists, and technicians—with strong collaborations with community resources, hospitals, and health facilities, ensuring comprehensive support and care. Looking ahead, my vision for Pentland’s is to continue to provide unparalleled prosthetic and orthotic services. I see our clinic expanding its reach, innovating in care methodologies, and enhancing our community engagements to ensure that anyone who walks through our doors feels at home. I am dedicated to fostering an environment where every client and staff member is seen, heard, and appreciated—furthering a legacy of service and care that goes beyond mere treatment to touch lives profoundly. I am committed to leading Pentland’s into a future where our impact transcends physical boundaries, making a lasting difference in the lives of many more to come.
