Tell Us Your Story. What motivated you to start your business? Why are you passionate about what you do?

For over 15 years OptiCrane Inc. has provided and fully services an array of technologically advanced products to enhance the safety and risk management requirements associated with construction cranes through engineered devices such as anti collision systems, viewing systems and as well as mobile based management solutions. In addition, various other types of blind spot management systems as well as operator alert systems for all types of Industrial equipment are pushing OptiCrane Inc. to be on the forefront of all new technology. The success of OptiCrane Inc. was and remains only possible by the continued acute attention to detail attitude as well as an understanding of the regulatory requirements for compliance in each jurisdiction through out the lower mainland where these devices are integrated within the controls as operator aids.

OptiCrane Inc. believes in their community and a team environment and demonstrates by sponsoring local softball and hockey teams. Another important way to show support is OptiCrane Inc. hires Apprentices and encourages continued education by supporting their employees throughout this process. OptiCrane Inc. has maintained a pay it forward attitude and is known for shopping locally with nearby businesses whenever possible. OptiCrane Inc. is commited to environmental sustainability including recycling programs, energy - efficient practices.

Winning the Business Impact Award is a testament to Resilience during adversity: OptiCrane not only survived but thrived despite the dual challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and a serious motor vehicle accident involving the owner. This demonstrates the ability to adapt, innovate, and persevere through difficult circumstances. Despite these setbacks, OptiCrane maintained operations, showing dedication to our customers and employees. This continuity is a reflection of strong leadership and a resilient business strategy. Winning this award would recognize OptiCrane's survival, positive impact on the community.
