Leah Yard Designs is a demi-fine jewellery brand in Vancouver BC. We work with recycled 14 Karat Gold plated Sterling Silver, 14 Karat Gold Fill, and a variety of gemstones. A love of classic glamour is at the core of Leah Yard Designs. The filigree style throughout the collection has become a signature element. The curvature of the frames adds a timeless touch to each piece. 5% of all profits made in the collection are donated to the DEWC [Downtown Eastside Women's Centre]. Leah Yard Designs is run by Leah Yard who also hosts the "Voted Least Likely" Podcast. A note from Leah: "I am the least likely person to have ended up in the fashion industry. From living on a lighthouse island as a child, to dropping out of high school and working entry-level jobs for over a decade, to accidentally becoming an entrepreneur: my story is far from glamorous. In an industry that values prestige and glamour, it is easy to feel like an imposter. Because of this, I now proudly share my story on the Voted Least Likely Podcast in hopes that it inspires someone else." Leah Yard Designs was established in 2013. The inspiration behind the brand is TRANSFORMATION. Driven by her own unconventional journey of living on an isolated lighthouse island as a child, Leah approaches each new season with versatility in mind. Throughout the collection you’ll find convertible styles, adjustable lengths, and removable charms. Each piece of jewellery is designed in Vancouver, Canada. We are proud to work with our international RJC certified production partners to help bring the full collection to life. We take our impact on the world seriously which is why we use materials that are meant to last and include recycled metals in the production process. Each collection builds on the last, honouring the journey along the way. We believe in celebrating what makes you; uniquely you.
