EURONAILS is a unique Nail Salon which has been renowned for its unparalleled approach to personal care services, such as manicure, pedicure, brow and makeup. We focus on Quality of Service and Exceptional Experience which we bring to all of our clients. Established in 2017 under the Art Direction of Award-Winning Nail Technician and Educator Elena Maiorova, EURONAILS has opened up its very first location in New Westminster. Fast forward to present day, EURONAILS is a well established company with 2 locations (Flagship location in New Westminster on 12th Street and recently opened its 2nd location on Mainland Street in Yaletown). In addition to providing unparalleled Nail Care and Beauty services, EURONAILS is also a training centre for aspiring Nail Technicians as well as a specialized Boutique Beauty Supply Store, supporting the needs of professional Nail Technicians, Estheticians across Canada and in the United States. While our story has very humble beginnings, today EURONAILS brand is equivocal with High Standards in personal care and beauty services, utilizing world renowned brands in beauty products and equipment. In 2020, EURONAILS has been recognized as a Best Nail Salon in Vancouver by Populist in 2020. Recently EURONAILS has been recognized as a Best in its Class Nail Salon by Fresha 2023 and has won the Canadian Choice Awards for Nail Salons in Vancouver in 2024. Also, EURONAILS SHOP has recently participated as an Exhibitor at prestigious Esthetique Spa International Vancouver Trade Show in March 2024. Our team is comprised of highly skilled and talented women, who are passionate about our values and vision to provide Exceptional Experience to our customers. Presently our team consists of 10 Nail Technicians and 2 Brow/Makeup Artists, and 3 Administrators. Our ladies work very hard, continuously improving their skills and training to provide high quality services, and also participate in various Competitions and Certification programs. Our drive and passion for perfection can be felt by our clients from the moment they step inside of our salon for their first appointment. We are committed to providing an exceptional EURONAILS EXPERIENCE to our customers.

Tell Us Your Story. What motivated you to start your business? Why are you passionate about what you do?

EURONAILS Salon was founded in December 2017 with a vision to become an exclusive and luxurious provider of personal care and beauty services. Our founder, Elena Maiorova is an Award-Winning (Canada Nail Cup 2017 and Nailympia 2019) Nail Technician and Educator. She has incorporated her meticulous approach to Quality of Service and Client-Centric experience into her business model. Our mission is to consult our current and potential clients about personal care and beauty services that are best suited for them, immerse our clients into comfortable environment and provide them with a luxurious experience from start to finish. Each member of our team creates a EURONAILS experience for our clients! Our approach to candidate selection is best in the industry, we spend a great deal of diligence in ensuring that our Nail Technicians are meeting our high standards and are motivated to becoming best in class based on their skills, knowledge, experience, certifications and customer satisfaction. Additionally, we spend a great degree of attention to sourcing best products, tools and equipment that we incorporate into our services. So much so, that we became brand ambassadors and official distributors for such brands as Akzentz (Canada), Adoreyes (Canada), Staleks (Ukraine), ÜLKA (Ukraine), Saeyang (South Korea), BAUUSA (USA) among others. We continually work on improving our processes and best practices utilizing such methodology as prescribed by LEAN/Agile processes improvement cycle. Our team undergoes regular training and certification in relation to the area of their specialty and we heavily invest into training, skills development, process improvement and learning from our clients feedback and experience. We continually strive to be better at what we do, one step at a time, establishing tangible goals and objectives and see through how we follow through on our mission to be the best!

Describe and demonstrate, including metrics, your community support. How do you support and uplift your community, and how do they show that support in return? Minimum 25 words, maximum 2500 characters.

First and foremost, EURONAILS is a Women’s led business, which creates amazing work opportunities for talented women in the sphere of beauty and personal care. We employ amazingly talented women from diverse backgrounds, including professional nail artists that have arrived from Ukraine and Poland due to ongoing war in the region. Our team is multicultural, including talented professionals from European countries, Japan, and Iran. Additionally, we provide amazing opportunities for aspiring and new Nail Technicians and Artists to try out their skills when applying for a job with us and we give them invaluable feedback about how to improve their skills and become better in their professional careers. In addition to engaging with the professionals within the beauty industry, we also frequently host workshops and free educational and networking events for other beauty professionals who see value in our mission and vision. Our customers are a huge part of our community, and we frequently donate gift certificates and vouchers for their causes and events. One such recent event was hosted by our clients for the 2024 Bellie Bowl Tournament. Also, we donate to local charitable organization Back-Pack Buddies, which provides food for underprivileged children in BC. We have many points of engagement with our local business community as well, as we strive to establish meaningful relationships and connections with other business, including Travel Agencies, Florists, Hair Salons and Construction Businesses. We understand the value of local economy, and we create opportunities for other businesses to engage with us, by way of providing their services, such as cleaning, professional services, marketing and printing, floral services and other essential products and services which we utilize at our salons.

Our vision and mission are impacting the people that work with us the same way they are impacting people who are or want to be our clients, vendors or simply be part of the community which we have created at EURONAILS. Over the past 6 years of our company’s history, we have engaged and connected with many different people, professionals and organizations and our goal is to ensure that these connections are positively meaningful and impactful. At EURONAILS each and every one of us cares about making a positive difference in the moment for the person they are interacting with. Whether it is our Administrator providing initial information over the phone to our prospective client or if it’s one of our Nail Technicians providing a service to their client, the desire is always there to ensure that people enjoy their visit with us, they enjoy the service and their look, which will give them confidence that they look amazing and lots of compliments. EURONAILS is a community of talented individuals who are involved in delivering amazing quality of service and experience in the Lower Mainland. It’s incredibly rewarding to see that our work has started getting attention and recognition in various regions in BC and beyond. Our goal is to reach more people who are looking for the services that we provide and to connect with talented individuals who want to become part of our organization. This is the essential reason why we are submitting our application for this award.

Tell Us About Your Culture. How are you creating a sustainable and healthy workplace where everyone feels welcome? Provide examples of leadership you show in interactions with clients, vendors, contractors, staff and others.

At EURONAILS our mission and vision of Quality of Service and Customer Centric Experiences are incorporated into everything that we do. Starting with our Administrative Team, who are the face of our organization, they embody friendliness, empathy, desire to help and dedication to our high standards of service excellence. Our Administrators are the ambassadors of our brand, they are constantly engaged with our clients in person and also on our social media platforms. Their job involves a lot of emotional labour in understanding our clients needs, circumstances and timelines. Our Administrators are professional schedulers, caring Hosts and attentive Client Care representatives when it comes to making our clients’ visit a smooth and welcoming experience. Secondly, our Technicians are talented professionals, who highly value quality over quantity and demonstrate their individualized approach to their clients, seeing through that each service makes a positive and memorable impression for each client. Their work is not only about making our clients nails look great, it’s about being present for each client, being attentive and caring, gentle in every step of the process and empathetic towards our clients personal requests and needs. As Business Owners, we constantly engage with our Administrative Team and our Technicians, by way of staff meetings, internal training, and various activities that make our team members actively connected with us and amongst themselves. We host social gatherings to distinguish our team members for their achievements, celebrate memorable events and milestones. This year it’s been an incredible experience to have several of our team members attend the ESI Vancouver show and Canadian Choice Awards Gala. While running a small business as a family has become a bit of a cliche, our approach to the Unity of Mission has been centred around the fact that we genuinely care about how we are perceived by our clients, staff, contractors, vendors and the public. We value the incredible personal connections that we make with our various clients over the years, and a lot of our clients have become our friends. Our Leadership style has been always based on Leading by Example, supporting our individual team members when they need assistance and empowering our strong and dedicated members to reach their best potential.
