Best Youth Entrepreneur

What motivated you to start your business and what is your vision for the future of the company?

My motivation to start this business stems from my own experiences with bullying and low self-esteem. I remember how intimidating martial arts gyms felt, often with a focus on hard sparring that made the environment feel unwelcoming. I wanted to create a space where people, especially kids, could feel safe and supported while still learning valuable self-defense skills. My vision for the future of the company is to continue fostering an inclusive, friendly environment where everyone feels they belong. I want to help individuals build confidence and develop real-life techniques without the intimidation often associated with martial arts. By balancing effective combat training with a supportive atmosphere, we aim to empower our students and provide them with skills they can use both in and out of the dojo. Our goal is to expand our community, continue improving our programs, and make a positive impact on the lives of those we train.

Why do you deserve to win the Best Youth Entrepreneur Award?

I believe I deserve to win the Best Youth Entrepreneur Award because of my dedication to creating a positive impact on the lives of young people through my business. My journey from being bullied and struggling with self-esteem has deeply influenced my approach. I’ve transformed those challenges into a mission to offer a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for youth. By founding a martial arts school that emphasizes confidence-building, inclusivity, and practical self-defense skills, I’ve addressed a significant gap in traditional martial arts training. I’ve worked hard to make martial arts accessible and welcoming, ensuring that students of all backgrounds can benefit from real-life techniques without facing intimidation. Winning this award would not only recognize my commitment but also amplify our mission to inspire and support more young people. It would validate the positive changes we’re making in our community and motivate me to continue growing our impact, creating opportunities for even more youths to gain confidence and develop valuable life skills.
