E-Commerce Experience Award

How have you optimized your e-commerce store to create a strong user experience for your community, (through content, education, reviews etc.) and what results have you achieved?

Since launching our brand new look & feel of SupplyPost.com in January, we have seen an enormous increase in the amount of new listings, sales for customers, and experience for the user. We implemented a new Financing feature in partnership with Canadian Western Bank, which has proven successful. We vastly improved the search result pages for the user and made it easier for them to contact the seller, get financing, or see more details and specifications. We implemented a free option for our listings, which gives new users the chance to "test drive" our service before committing to anything longer term. Most importantly, we improved our mobile experience, making it fully optimized and readable for the mobile user.

Why do you deserve to win the E-commerce Experience Award?

We have created a unique experience, unlike anything else in our marketplace. The services we offer on SupplyPost.com benefit everyone—from the single person selling a backhoe, to a small business managing a fleet, to the large corporation and dealers with hundreds of pieces in their inventories. As a 3rd-generation family business, we are proud of how much we have grown and adapted to a changing digital marketing world.
