Shy Beauty studio is located in the heart of Sechelt but my journey has come from all the way and New Zealand and Fiji. With a very diverse collaboration of my culture and heritage I've been able to design a welcoming space that is filled with so many little details that we have created a Vibe in the space. Shy Beauty has become a creative hub that is different and unique with some amazing artists that get to create experiences of self-care and wellness from the inside out Shy Beauty Studio Everything from Haircuts , color , threading , esthetics , makeup artistry, lash extensions , massage therapy, Accupresure therapy, photography, beauty education, products and more ✨ With plans of expanding into building a preforming arts school , as well as a Healing oasis Retreat Care facility , Sabrina Samy plans on starting a non profit foundation that will go towards building the first mosque on the sunshine coast that will be open to every body in the community . A farm based and sanctuary with a garden to grow food and create meals and a safe place for residents and visitors to come and experience a part of culture and healing that is devine to the spiritual connection we all have with the Creator. Shy Beauty has created a family based connection with our clients and we look forward to making all our goals and dreams into reality !

What motivated you to start your business and what is your vision for the future of the company?
In 2013 I gave birth to my beautiful daughter Shyla , and later that year I had ventured into creating Shy Beauty Studio. Becoming a mother to an entrepreneur , I decided to take a leap of faith and believed that I could create a space and offer self care and healing to all those who wanted it, including myself. As an artist I was able to offer unique one on one experiences for all different occasions. Offering everything from Haircuts, color, makeup artistry, threading, henna , massage, beauty education, and so much more. My vision for my business is to expand into creating a healing oasis on the Sunshine coast.
Why do you deserve to win the Best Youth Entrepreneur Award?
I believe I deserve this award because I have continued to grow and over come obstacles having my business and working with people in this community that are young and old. Inspiring other entrepreneurs and the younger generations to follow their goals and dreams and you can achieve anything . Helping others find their true passion and to work towards what they love . I have created my business to reflect all that is me. We are also the only salon that has a kid friendly room . We want to encourage that self care and growth to all .

Why do you think you should win the Premier’s People’s Choice Award?
It would be a true honor to win the Premier`s People`s choice Award as I have spent the last 10 years building my small business and have truly connected with the people of this community. By creating a place for people in this community and to those visiting or passing through , Shy Beauty Studio has really grown and expanded within the space and our team of talented individuals who are passionate about making others feel and look amazing! Encouraging self care to everyone and creating a safe inviting space for clients to come and enjoy. With the goal to expand into a Preforming Arts academy on the coast Shy Beauty studio is determined to grow their supporters and be the first to expand the education of arts, and culture on the Sunshine coast. Shy Beauty studio is also launching a non profit organization that will fundraise towards the school and to the creation of the first Temple on the Coast. This Healing temple will be designed to be self sustaining and a sanctuary dedicated to healing and reconnecting our soul to the creator of this universe.
