Why do you think you should win the Premier’s People’s Choice Award?
I started Rad Jamz six years ago. We made a few batches of jam and sold them at the Summerland Farmer's Market. I was instantly hooked and I built my business from the ground up. Along the way I've made many connections with vendors, farmers, customers, and other professionals along the way. The community of Kelowna and the surrounding area have been instrumental to our success. We have been able to grow from our home kitchen, into a rented kitchen, into a commercial kitchen in our home, to most recently an industrial warehouse space in West Kelowna. Because of the incredible support of the people in our community, we're now available in over 100+ retailers, and available in food service packaging through Sysco and GFS. We look forward to working with our new distribution partner, and we plan to expand into Alberta in 2023.
