At Ms. Whimsy's we believe strongly in supporting local small businesses as well as fantastic Canadian made products. Every unique and whimsical item is very thoughfully sourced, by Ms. Whimsy, with these criteria in mind. Sustainability is something else we believe in strongly. We have our upcycled, one-of--a-kind clothing and have recently added Rebel Vintage Clothing to the store. We are proud to be part of the Kamloops Sustainability Tour. We also believe in creating a shopping experience for people living in Kamloops or visiting our downtown. Our quirkiness and excellent customer service has people coming back again and again.

Why do you think you should win the Premier’s People’s Choice Award?
We are a small business that is passionate about supporting other small businesses; a lot of them right here in Kamloops. There are great small businesses here that are creating some amazing products. We are proud to support their endevours and get their products out to the public. We believe strongly in a sense of community and love getting to know our vendors and our customers. We are passoinate about giving exceptional customer service and helping the customer find just the right thing. We call it mindful gift giving. We also love meeting people from all over the world and being embassadors of our City. I have lived here for 34 years and love giving tips to visitors on things to see and do in our area. We are here to do more than just sell our products. Hearing people's stories and sometimes sharing ours is the best part of our jobs.
