She is also a 4x certified Lash & Brow Artist and a former MAC Cosmetics Retail Manager. Based in the heart of downtown Kamloops, Ginger's studio offers clients a stylish and inviting space with everything from retail, and Lash/Brow services to (Event/Editorial/Bridal) Makeup services and Makeup lessons. In 2022, Ginger expanded her studio services to utilize her vast aesthetic skincare knowledge and launched "quenched Skin Room" offering a range of facial, skin tightening and skin rejuvenation services. 2022 was also the year quenched cosmetics was born, Ginger's highly anticipated, signature beauty brand. With a keen eye for detail and a results-driven mindset, Ginger's passion for the beauty industry helped her develop a luxury beauty brand for all. To Ginger, creating a luxury beauty brand meant using only the best ingredients, and maintaining the highest standards to deliver professional quality makeup and skincare products, that work. The expansion of her brand serves to keep her mission to help people look and feel their best as her top priority, In addition to being a female entrepreneur, Ginger is also a proud mama to her son, Tristan, her daughter, Tyra and her beloved charcoal lab Piper, and is still happily married to her college sweetheart, Don. Ginger has called Kamloops home for over 30 years and is a proud supporter of the Kamloops SPCA, Kamloops Hospice, RIH Foundation, BC Cancer Foundation and Diabetes Association. Always striving to continue to be a leader in her industry, by being as knowledgeable as possible and sharing that knowledge with others, Ginger is highly respected for her Makeup Lessons, Classes and her extensive training for aspiring Makeup Artists as well. She offers beauty industry and business mentorship programs and seeks to help other female entrepreneurs succeed. Why do you think you should win the Premier’s People’s Choice Award?
I know that there are so many deserving businesses in BC that have worked tirelessly, especially during this past year, to receive such an honor as a Small Business BC Award. The Premier's People's Choice Award is undoubtedly an immense honor to not only be nominated for but chosen to win as well. Being that it is based on a choice made by the people of my community to support my business and want to see me as the recipient of this award makes it an even greater honor. I opened Ginger Turley Artistry to help others look and feel their best. Helping someone to feel more confident by way of offering makeup, lash, and brow services to enhance outer beauty is my passion; getting to know my clients and helping them feel beautiful from the inside out is my privilege. My goal is to have every person who leaves my studio, after having services by myself and my team, to FEEL even better than when they first entered. I believe in supporting my community and fellow business owners and try to offer help wherever needed. Whether it be to help promote other businesses or participate in community events, and support local charities, I have always tried to spread kindness and positivity with my business. My top priority has always been my clients and doing my best to exceed their expectations by providing the highest levels of customer service and being their resource in the beauty industry.
