Kubi Demirel is the founder and franchisor of Megabite Pizza and Pizza Garden. Originally a mechanical engineer in Turkey, Kubi moved to Vancouver and discovered that he enjoyed being a pizza chef instead of an engineer.  After receiving success with Megabite, Kubi saw a niche in the market for affordable, authentic Neapolitan pizza, and opened his first Pizza Garden location in 2011. Since founding Megabite in 1998, he now operates 9 Megabite and 8 Pizza Garden locations throughout the lower mainland, with another 3 opening this year.
