With over 20 years of design expertise, Estella Lum offers a broad spectrum of experience to draw from, having worked for various types of clients and industries, including corporate, government, entrepreneurial and non-profit spaces to meet a wide range of objectives. As the principal of Estella Lum Creative Communications, she incorporates a balance of aesthetics, functionality and strategic thinking into her work. Clients have included UBC, Vancouver Economic Commission, Emory University, Emily Carr University of Art + Design, PHSA, Dietitians of Canada, Moneris, PwC, The Brew Creek Centre, BC Cancer and YWCA. A recipient of numerous awards in North America, her work is recognized nationally and internationally, including Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education (CCAE), Graphex, Mohawk Papers and Graphis.
In 2008, Estella applied her designs skills to products and launched Possum Umbrellas, sold in numerous high end retail stores around the world including the Museum of Modern Art in NY, MoMA Korea, Whole Foods and the Vancouver Art Gallery.
