Social Enterprise Sector Survey

Programs & Publications

Gain valuable market research data and insight into the social enterprise sector with the Social Enterprise Sector Survey database.

The purpose of the database was to support the development of the social enterprise sector in Canada by conducting surveys that highlight the size, scope and impact of social enterprises at a provincial and territorial level.

Funding for the surveys between 2010 and 2016 has included the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (2010-2012), Simon Fraser University, the Institute for Community Prosperity, Mount Royal University, and generous local sponsors and supporters. The surveys were also supported by Enterprising Non-Profits Canada and Employment and Social Development Canada (2013-2016).
