Networking: How to Build and Leverage Valuable Connections

Tips for Successful Business Networking

As the title of the famous book states, your network is your net worth in business. Few tools are as powerful to an entrepreneur as a wide network of business contacts. If you’re looking for an Angel Investor, new client, or even a reliable car mechanic, your colleagues and contacts are usually the best place to find them.

Grab a business card and your small talk skills and join Cathy Kuzel, Business Development Consultant and networking expert, as she shares her strategies on how to maximize and leverage your networking efforts – whether it’s online or in person.

In this interactive session, Cathy will discuss how to make valuable new connections, how to spark conversation, and common networking mistakes to avoid so you can build the network you need to succeed.

What Will I Learn?

  • Choosing the right events to attend

  • Avoiding the three most common networking mistakes

  • How to craft a strong introduction to create connections fast
