Ergonomics in the COVID Era: Working from Home and Beyond

Minimize Discomfort and Injuries with Ergonomics

Description

For several months, many of us have worked from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The workstations we hastily set up in March have lasted longer than expected. Also some of the COVID-19-related changes to our workplaces have increased risk for injuries. As a result, It’s time to address this problem, ahead of a winter spent working remotely or working with COVID-19 related changes in your workplace.

Correcting your workstation ergonomics will improve your physical well-being and create a work environment that’s safe for extended use. Join Gina Vahlas, WorkSafeBC, for this informative webinar and discover how correct ergonomics can help prevent aches and pains from progressing to musculoskeletal injuries (MSIs). This webinar will cover potential MSI risk factors you’ll experience working remotely, and risk controls to incorporate to prevent MSIs.

What Will I Learn?

  • The role ergonomics can play in prevention of musculoskeletal injuries

  • Steps you can take to improve the ergonomics of your home office and other work contexts
