Decolonizing, Indigenizing and Reconciling Entrepreneurship

The Basics of Decolonizing Your Business

Description

Wondering what it means to decolonize entrepreneurship & success? Ready to shift out of colonial defaults and into critical consciousness? Want to apply a decolonial lens to your business, your HR, your bottom line?

Join Ta7talíya Michelle Nahanee of the Squamish Nation, founder of Decolonizing Practices and M̓i tel’nexw Leadership Society for an introduction to decolonizing, indigenizing & reconciling entrepreneurship. Ta7talíya will share teachings, talk about her journey of unlearning, and guide participants through exercises from her workbook Decolonize First, a liberating guide for peeling back the layers of neocolonialism.

Decolonize First is informed and inspired by two years of hosting Decolonizing Practices workshops. This webinar will provide space for the self-reflection and preparation needed to peel back the layers of neocolonialism that envelope all of us.

Everyone is welcome to attend this webinar – whether you are an Indigenous and non-Indigenous entrepreneur.

What Will I Learn?

  • How to see your business from a decolonial perspective

  • What does it mean to decolonizing entrepreneurship and success

  • How to apply a framework based on social change

  • How to construct a decolonial map
