Cybersecurity for Your Business

An introduction to cybersecurity and controls to protect your business

Description

With more businesses relying on online platforms and digital tools to operate, strengthening cybersecurity is becoming as critical as installing a lock on your door. Cyber attacks can leave businesses vulnerable to financial losses and reputational damage.

This webinar will outline how CyberSecure Canada can help you protect your business. CyberSecure Canada is a voluntary cybersecurity certification program introduced in 2019 by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED), in collaboration with the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security and the Standards Council of Canada.

Join Nigel Russell and Mathurin Halaoui at ISED, to learn how you can improve your business resiliency and competitive advantage by becoming CyberSecure certified. This webinar will introduce you to 13 baseline cybersecurity controls designed to be straightforward to implement. Organizations that implement the 13 controls can receive a government-backed certification that shows their customers, clients, investors and partners their valuable data is protected.

What Will I Learn?

  • How to mitigate the impact of cybersecurity risks on your business

  • How to protect your business and gain the confidence of your employees, clients and customers

  • An introduction to CyberSecure program and what it means to be certified

  • Thirteen cybersecurity measures to implement for your business
