Robert Madden is the Co-Founder/CEO of OwlCrate and a self-professed reluctant entrepreneur. Before starting OwlCrate Robert spent 9 years managing a Vancouver-based children's Toy Store, which helped grow his love of small business and personalized customer service. When he's not staring blankly at spreadsheets, Robert enjoys cycling and practicing martial arts.
In 2006, Robert Tucker accompanied his wife to her first craft fair as a maker and it became quickly apparent that it wasn’t the right fit for them. Were all craft fairs filled with pinecone art? Surely not! Inspired and using their background as Event Producers, they drafted up a vendor call and posted it on the community board of a local coffee shop. In May 2007, Robert and Andrea produced the first Got Craft? event at the Western Front and this December, will mark 10 years of shows and the 20th event in Vancouver (not including one show in London, UK back in 2011). Over the years, Got Craft? has produced the Vancouver premiere of Handmade Nation and the Sign Painters movie, Swap-O-Rama-Rama, and have partnered with the Museum of Vancouver, Knit City and the Vancouver Mini Maker Faire.
In February 2015, Robert and Andrea opened up a brick and mortar shop, London Fields Shoppe, featuring an eclectic mix of new and vintage with an emphasis on handmade. When he’s not working at the shop or the show, Robert continues his work as an Event Producer for select corporate clients or can be found at the park with his two year old son.
With VFM since 2003, Roberta works with vendors, staff, volunteers, community members and site hosts to make sure that the Vancouver farmers markets deliver the benefits intended for all stakeholders. As part of a small core staff team, she also totes tents, hoists tables and patrols parking as one of the market on-site team when needed.

Ryan Slater is the co-founder of The Juice Truck. Launched in 2011, Ryan and his business partner Zach Berman introduced Canada's first cold pressed juice bar. Sasha obtained her M.Sc. in Audiology from UBC in 2000, and has worked as an audiologist at WorkSafeBC, specializing in noise and hearing loss prevention since then.
She is now the Occupational Audiologist in the Risk Analysis Unit where she strives to reduce or prevent noise-related health and safety effects. She also teaches future audiologists at UBC and sits on numerous noise and hearing-related technical committees with the Canadian Standards Association.

Tamara Komuniecki was a broadcast, print and web journalist and magazine editor for outlets like CBC Radio and TV, CKUA Radio, the Globe and Mail, National Post, Better Homes and Gardens and City TV for nearly 20 years. After, she started her own online publication called Delish Mag, and seven fantastic issues later, the magazine morphed into an online store called Delish General Store (DGS) to enable Tamara to share some of the wonderful products she had always just been writing about.
