Roni M. Jones is a lawyer with Oyen Wiggs Green & Mutala LLP, a boutique firm practicing in the area of intellectual property law.  Roni’s practice includes advising clients on all aspects of intellectual property law, with a particular emphasis on patent prosecution in the fields of mechanical, industrial and electrical technologies.

Roni was called to the Bar of British Columbia in 2014. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia in 2013. While completing his law degree, Roni was elected to progressively more senior roles in the UBC Law Students’ Society, culminating in his role as President. He was a member of the winning UBC British Columbia Law Schools Competitive Moot team. He received the Bull, Housser and Tupper Prize in Technology Law.

Before studying law, Roni graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree (Materials Engineering). After graduating with his Bachelors degree, Roni worked with a local ski company on research and development.

In his free time, Roni enjoys travelling and athletic activities such as cycling and snowboarding.
