After nearly 20 years working with customers in both B2C and B2B relationships to achieve success in sales and growth, Monique Cherrie decided make a change and launch her own business. After a trip abroad with her family she became intrigued with the notion of pop up shops and the way they enable any size business to instantly achieve exposure, experiment with new branding, or just engage directly with their existing customers. With creating memorable experiences that leave a lasting impression as her motivation, Monique decided she wanted to help this model grow in Vancouver and Canada. Since the beginning of 2016 she has been the driving force behind Makeshift Spaces. With her experience in event management she has hosted art galleries, pop up shops and markets, as well as hosting events for international tourism, motivational speakers, and fashion designers.
