Miranda joined Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC) in 2007. Prior to joining IBC, Miranda worked in the private sector in the financial and legal services industries.
As an Information Officer at IBC, part of Miranda's role involves providing consumer information and education. She is a frequent presenter on home and business insurance to a variety of audiences.
Miranda holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia and has also earned the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada.
Insurance Bureau of Canada is the national industry association representing Canada’s private home, car and business insurers. Its member companies represent nearly 95% of the property and casualty (P&C) insurance market in Canada. It works on a number of fronts to increase public understanding of home, car and business insurance.
