Back in January, we called on our community to nominate and vote for their favourite small businesses. We were blown away by the response. A total of 636 nominations were received, representing 442 businesses in 88 communities across British Columbia.

The SBBC Business Impact Award goes to the business owner(s) that are truly making a difference. These hard-working individuals embrace the challenges of entrepreneurship, displaying skill in areas like sales, marketing, logistics, finances and operations. Our Top 5 will now progress to the next phase of the competition, presenting a 10-minute pitch, followed by a Q&A session, to a judging panel of business experts via Zoom. This independent judging panel will decide which of the Top 5 Finalists will be this year’s winner.
