The top small businesses in BC were crowned in February 2014 as the winners of the 11th Annual Small Business BC Awards were announced at the Pan Pacific Vancouver.

The competition was fierce and the winners had to prove their excellence among a group of 460 nominated businesses in 9 different award categories. The winners were selected after an intense five-month process that involved online voting, applications and a Dragons’ Den style pitch to a judging panel.

Premier’s People’s Choice: Fruiticana Produce Ltd.

More than 500 people attended the sold-out 11th annual Small Business BC Awards gala recognizing the contributions B.C.’s entrepreneurs make to their local communities and to the global economy. Guests mingled and networked at the reception prior to the awards ceremony, where Travel Best Bets owner and president Claire Newell was the emcee.
