What motivated you to start your business and what is your vision for the future of the company?

I was motivated to purchase Sprout Health Market because I wanted to cultivate a locally and woman-owned business in Kimberley, BC. My passion for supporting local makers drives me to create an inclusive space that empowers others, especially young entrepreneurs and women, to step out of their comfort zones and pursue their passions. Looking ahead, my vision for Sprout is to grow and eventually expand to two locations within the next three years. I aim to establish Sprout as a well-known and trusted local business that the community relies on for premium health products. By fostering a supportive environment and highlighting the incredible talent within our community, I hope to inspire others to join the journey toward health and wellness.

I believe I deserve to win the Best Youth Entrepreneur Award because, at just 25 years old, I have demonstrated my commitment and passion for health and wellness by successfully owning and operating Sprout Health Market since I was 23. My journey as a holistic nutritionist has fueled my drive to create a business that not only provides premium health products but also empowers our community to prioritize their well-being. As a sole owner, I have taken on the challenges of entrepreneurship with ambition and determination. I am dedicated to supporting local makers and fostering an inclusive environment for young entrepreneurs and women. My leadership at Sprout has not only contributed to its growth but has also inspired others to pursue their passions fearlessly. I believe I should win the Premier’s People’s Choice Award because I am deeply committed to the well-being of our community and have made it my mission to create a space that fosters health, wellness and sustainability. Since purchasing Sprout Health Market at the age of 23, I have dedicated the past 2.5 years to not only expanding our offerings but also to building meaningful relationships with our customers. As a Holistic Nutritionist, I understand the importance of accessible, high-quality products that support overall health. My passion for holistic wellness drives me to continually enhance our product selection, ensuring we provide premium supplements, cruelty-free body care, specialty grocery and more. I believe that every item we offer contributes to our community's health journey. I am committed to seeing Sprout Health Market grow and flourish in the coming years and I actively seek feedback from our customers to ensure we are meeting their needs.
