Starting from humble beginnings in a metal sheet shed, where we did everything with power tools, we have now expanded into a proper warehouse equipped with machinery, employees, and a physical store. How have you optimized your e-commerce store to create a strong user experience for your community, (through content, education, reviews etc.) and what results have you achieved?

At Sapiens Child, our e-commerce journey has been exciting and challenging, all about making things exceptional for our community. It began with a simple idea: let’s make it incredibly easy and enjoyable for parents to find the perfect furniture for their children so children can have the best environment to thrive. Our site is about showing that every piece of furniture has a unique story to tell, with unique features and attributes. We've provided detailed descriptions, high-quality photos, and videos to show how our products look in real homes. We want parents to envision our furniture seamlessly fitting into their lives. We try to answer all the questions and concerns parents might have just by scanning our website. We didn't want to simply sell products; we wanted to be a valuable resource for parents. Our site and social media is filled with helpful information, from blog posts on Montessori principles (made by a Montessori Certified Guide) to videos about creating kid-friendly spaces. Our goal is to support and educate parents, helping them make informed decisions. One of the most rewarding aspects has been reading the reviews from our customers. We love hearing parents share their stories and experiences with our products and we want other people to learn about these stories as well. Having testimonials, reviews, and videos helps parents to build trust and join the Sapiens lifestyle. Creating the perfect website has required significant effort, especially since my background isn’t in marketing or web development. We've dedicated countless hours to refining every detail, from content to visuals, ensuring each product’s story is told beautifully. With the help of experts, we've created a visually stunning and emotionally engaging online space. We’ve ensured our site is incredibly user-friendly and tells a story as you dig into the details. We are always trying to implement the best apps to make a smooth checkout process and shopping experience adding things like smart checkout, loyalty programs, after-sell apps, and post-purchase email flows. We strive to make the entire experience enjoyable and hassle-free. Our efforts have paid off. We've seen a significant increase in site visitors, higher sales, and a growing base of loyal customers. We have sold over 4000 pieces of furniture already. Our sales are up by 40% year to date compared to the same period last year. We didn't win the E-Commerce Experience Award last year and we are excited about winning it this year, which would be an amazing achievement, validating our efforts and their positive impact. This journey has been incredible, and we’re excited to continue growing and serving our wonderful community.

Because we’ve trained an army of invisible elves to personally deliver an unusual amount of magic and love with every order. Not only do our customers get exceptional furniture, but they also receive a touch of enchantment that makes bedtime stories come alive and playtime adventures unforgettable. And let’s face it, who else can claim that their assembly instructions double as treasure maps? But in all seriousness, at Sapiens Child, we've infused passion, innovation, and a touch of love into every aspect of our shopping journey. From detailed handwritten "made with love" messages hidden in our products to fun extra steps in the digital assembly instructions like "after joining part A with B, give your little one a hug," and sharing fun facts about the Montessori method with every digital thank you note, we've turned furniture shopping and assembly into an extraordinary fun experience.
