What motivated you to start your business and what is your vision for the future of the company?

As a graduate of KPU's entrepreneurial program, I always had the goal of starting and growing my own business. My journey began in 2014 when I became an early adopter of Airbnb, listing my property and gaining valuable insights into the vacation rental market. This experience, combined with my role as the revenue manager for Leavetown Vacations, where I worked with high-end clients like Vail Resorts and Banff Lodging Company, highlighted a market gap for specialized revenue management services tailored to luxury vacation properties. The onset of COVID-19 and my subsequent layoff provided the push and free time needed to launch Lifty Life Vacation Rentals. I started Lifty Life to combine my passion for ski resorts and snowboarding with my professional expertise in revenue management. My goal is to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maximizing revenue for property owners through dynamic pricing and personalized service. Looking ahead, I envision Lifty Life expanding to include more high-end properties across Western Canada, focusing on prime ski resort destinations and other luxurious vacation spots within the region. We are committed to innovation in guest services, sustainable practices, and building strong partnerships with property owners and local businesses. My ultimate aim is to establish Lifty Life as a trusted leader in the luxury vacation rental market, known for excellence in both property and revenue management.
