Tell Us Your Story. What motivated you to start your business? Why are you passionate about what you do?

Christine likes to think fencing found her. Living in rural areas, there was always a need to fence something in or out, first for four-legged friends and then for two-legged babies. This constant need and desire to protect what is important to you, inspired the start of our fence business, motivated by the neccessity to provide quality products at a fair price from a trusted source. Steve retired from the R.C.M.P. and joined the company full time when we incorporated. A true people person, he loves interacting with customers, infusing his own sense of humor into every conversation. He has extensive experience installing various types of fencing, now specializing in vinyl fence, whether personally, professionally, or through subcontractors and partnerships that allow us to handle large-scale projects. You may often hear him say, "I've never worked so hard," but he takes great pride in the finished product and in surpassing our customers' expectations. Together, we are passionate about providing our community with reliable fencing solutions that enhance both security and aesthetics. Our communities deserves nothing less.

We are grateful and take great pride in playing a role in rebuilding the fencing for Lytton First Nation in Lytton, BC, after the devastating wildfire. This effort not only restores essential infrastructure but also provides a sense of security and hope to the affected residents. Additionally, we have donated materials to a local non-profit organization that support first responders, as well as community projects in the agricultural sector, further demonstrating our commitment to community support. Our partnerships with many contractors throughout BC ensure that we support other small businesses and their families. This collaborative approach strengthens the local economy and fosters a sense of mutual support. In return, almost all of our business comes from referrals. The trust our customers place in our services is a testament to the strong relationships we have built. We consistently receive positive reviews and testimonials, in person and online, which help attract new customers and reinforce our reputation. Local organizations and businesses often reach out to us for collaborative projects, recognizing our commitment to quality and community support. We have been featured in the Canadian Fence Industry Magazine and have received various awards and nominations over the years. One of the most rewarding aspects of our work is that many of our fence customers have become friends outside of work, reflecting the deep and lasting connections we establish within our community.

Our vinyl also has a 900-degree melting point which has been proven to protect homes, causing a wildfire to burn back on itself unlike other fencing materials that would ignite and fuel the flames. We continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve our operations, ensuring we remain a responsible and forward-thinking company.
