Founded in 2007 by Arvind Dhillon and Jas Litt, CSS was born from their vision to transform the physical security landscape. Drawing on their expertise in electronic physical security, they identified a growing need for innovative solutions to meet evolving security challenges for homes, businesses, and institutions. The company’s early years were characterized by unwavering commitment to quality and development, culminating in the delivery of top-notch service and personalized solutions. This pivotal period laid the groundwork for Covert Security Solutions’ rise in the industry. As demand for robust security systems grew, CSS rapidly expanded into commercial, institutional, and industrial markets. Strategic partnerships with renowned companies bolstered its reputation and set new benchmarks, fostering innovative, integrated solutions in security technology and smart automation. Embracing the digital age, CSS integrated cutting-edge digital technologies. In 2021, it launched remote site monitoring and cloud-based solutions using AI and data analytics for real-time insights and predictive security measures. This shift led to proactive, data-driven security solutions with high accuracy in preventing theft, vandalism, and loss. Today, CSS is a leader in physical security systems, known for pioneering technology, strategic partnerships, sustainability, and user-centric design. With ongoing projects promoting cloud-based products, CSS continues to redefine security paradigms.

As part of the AD Group of Companies, Arvind Dhillon and Covert Security Solutions are deeply committed to giving back to the community that has supported them throughout their journey. Arvind's personal experiences, including the loss of his mother in 2013, have fueled his passion for philanthropy. During his time spent in hospitals, Arvind witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by medical teams in providing care due to equipment shortages. This inspired him to take action. Since 2015, Arvind and Covert Security Solutions has been donating $30,000 annually to Royal Columbian Hospital and Guru Nanak Free Kitchen as well as yearly donations to the BC Cancer Agency and BC Children’s Hospital, bringing the total contributions to over $500,000. Additionally, Covert Security Solutions actively collects and donates essential items to hospitals, exemplifying their ongoing dedication to supporting healthcare professionals and patients in need. Annually, Arvind proudly sponsors a day of Langhar, where Guru Nanak Free Kitchen provides over 1,000 hot meals and drinks to those in need in the Downtown Eastside. Covert Security Solutions and Arvind’s commitment to making a positive impact continues to drive His and Covert Security Solutions’ mission of giving back to the community.
