Smoking Gun was created out of passion and interest in coffee, and has grown into something completely unexpected. We are committed to telling the story of coffee from around the world by roasting it in a way that allows the coffee to express its unique flavour profile, and differentiate itself from other types of beans and origins. Small batch roasting allows us to ensure quality, freshness, and frequent rotation. We are highly passionate about developing community, collaboration and, of course, great coffee.

Why do you think you should win the Premier’s People’s Choice Award?
From earnest beginnings of roasting small batches of coffee at home to becoming a popular cafe and roastery in the heart of downtown Chilliwack that was recently named "Vancouver's Best Coffee Roaster", Brandon and the Smoking Gun crew live and breathe their motto "coffee for all." The cafe has become an inclusive community hub that offers coffee and treats, but more importantly, it offers connection and acceptance for all.
