Every bowl we offer is packed with flavour whether our customers choose signature bowls or take the adventure of building their own! We prioritize sourcing local and sustainable ingredients, even from as close as James Bay. Our fish is Ocean Wise, which means it's a 'good choice for keeping ocean life healthy and abundant for generations to come.' Poke Fresh is proud to be one of the green certified members of synergy. This means we are a business that keeps its waste pollution as low as possible.

Best Youth Entrepreneur
What motivated you to start your business and what is your vision for the future of the company?
I have a passion for sustainability as well as good food! After traveling Hawaii I realized that these two things can be combined together rather well! In terms of future for the company I plan on being (and hope to be) debt free by the end of 2023 as well as look to open a 3rd location at the beginning of 2024. In that same year I'd like to prepare all the appropriate things of being ready to be a franchise and be bought by other people hoping to get into the industry. For a 5 year plan I'd like to have a total of 8 locations, which would include 4 corporate locations and 4 franchise locations through BC and potentially AB. In the next 10 years I'd like Poke Fresh to be well known all over Canada with at least 18 locations in total.
Why do you deserve to win the Best Youth Entrepreneur Award?
As an entrepreneur under 35 I believe that I've taken my business through many feats of success, while at the same time weathering many storms including COVID, and surviving in a location that has failed 2 businesses in that prior 2 years. Doing all this in the restaurant industry is also something I'm proud of! Please reference our reviews for supporting info :D
