Best Youth Entrepreneur
What motivated you to start your business and what is your vision for the future of the company?
Back in 2019 when I was 22 I was looking around at photo booth vendors to book for my wedding, unfortunately I found that all the companies I was looking at would break my wallet and felt discourage from booking even though I had really wanted to make my event memorable by having a photo booth there. My then fiancée suggested to me the idea of starting our own photo booth company, one where we would make it affordable for others like ourselves to book. I was hesitant on the idea but with his support we went through the process of starting up our company, I didn't expect much and when COVID hit right after we launch our company it confirmed my fears and doubts of not being able to put our name out there. Surprisingly though, right when the restrictions were lifted we had inquiries and bookings pour in and now I'm more motivated than ever to provide one of the best photo booth service in Vancouver while still being reasonable priced for our clients and I cannot wait to expand our selection of available props and backdrops.
Why do you deserve to win the Best Youth Entrepreneur Award?
I feel like I would be the best candidate for the Best Youth Entrepreneur Award because I am able to provide motivation to other youths to chase after their dreams. My business story is an example for others of what is possible and relatable, a youth with little savings but still deciding to take that leap of pouring all of their savings into starting a company at the age of 22 right as the pandemic started but still not giving up. I spend all of my free time learning, research and finding ways to improve my business and I don't plan on stopping. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope you consider voting for my small business.
People's Choice
Why do you think you should win the Premier’s People’s Choice Award?
This award is given to those who demonstrate they have the unwavering and loyal support of their community and without a doubt in our minds, we believe that we do have that support because we strive to build a relationship and keep in touch with our clients after their events. We also believe in having a strong connection with our community and we support other small business in anyway we can.
