Established in 2021, Matt Tutin decided to take a leap of faith and leave his job in construction to pursue his dream of operating his own renovation company. MET Homes’ focus is to provide reliable, detailed oriented, and high end renovation services to the Columbia Valley. We do this by employing experienced contractors and using our network of professional sub-trades. This ensures all of our jobs run smooth and efficiently. With this mind set we have been able to build a successful and growing company. With the support of our loyal customers we have been able to double our sales in our second year of operation.

Best Youth Entrepreneur
What motivated you to start your business and what is your vision for the future of the company?
I was motivated to start MET Homes as an outlet for my creativity. Operating my own renovation company has allowed me the privilege to create beautiful spaces that bring a smile on each of my clients faces. My goal is to continue to provide excellent, customer oriented renovation services. I would also like to hire and train young aspiring carpenters so we can offer our high quality services to more customers.
Why do you deserve to win the Best Youth Entrepreneur Award?
Despite the challenges of opening a business during a very challenging couple of years, we have managed to grow MET Homes beyond what I could have expected. I believe I deserve to win the Best Youth Entrepreneur Award because of the hard work, time, and dedication it took to grow MET Homes to what it is today. My goal is not to stop here, but to continue to grow MET Homes into the Columbia Valleys go to renovation company. I hope to also dedicate my time to helping the next generation develop great work ethics and motivate them to do what they love.
