Handcrafted and hand decorated sugar cookies for all of lifes occasions, big and small. We started in the midst of a pandemic to bring a little brightness to a very uncertain time. With the help and support of our community we have been Prince George's go to sugar cookie provider for 3 years and counting! We love what we do, and often our owner is front and center at local events mixing and mingling with our community members, and putting smiles on faces with her delicious creations.

Why do you think you should win the Premier’s People’s Choice Award?
Without the support of my community during the pandemic, my hobby turned business could not have survived. I owe EVERYTHING I have become to them. They have shown me nothing but love since the day I started and now 3 years later I'm still so honored to continue to be a part of their lives. From engagements, to first babies, 6th birthdays, becoming part of their holiday traditions and being a part of their lives over the last 3 years I have grown professionally and personally as a local business owner and have been able to provide this personalized service to my community, be part of local fundraisers and so much more. I want to expand and continue to grow my business here, provide employment to local.community members in the future and potentially open Northern BCs first sugar cookie specific bakery/cookie shop.

How have you optimized your e-commerce store to create a strong user experience for your community, (through content, education, reviews etc.) and what results have you achieved?
One of the MAJOR components to my website that benefited both my clients and me was to create a custom cookie form on my website where clients can receive a quotation and submit custom orders in a matter of minutes. No more back and forth, long wait times for communications or confirmations. I've streamlined this service so that my customers and enter a few details and pick up their cookies on the date specified.
Why do you deserve to win the E-commerce Experience Award?
As a cookier, my area of expertise is certainly not website building. A terrifying undertaking if I ever faced one. I am unbelievably proud of having taken that on and built myself a website,with a massive learning curve, and successfully created what I dreamed of having in place for online ordering to take my business to the next level. If I were to win, I would want to continue my education in this area of my business and expand, and in doing so providing an even better experience for my customers moving forward. I believe there is always room for improvement and that one should never stop learning.
