What motivated you to start your business and what is your vision for the future of the company?

After working for other companies for a few years, and after having a family I wanted more flexibility in my schedule and to have a better work/life balance Once I gained a loyal following of clientele I realized that I could do this on my own so I started my own business at my private studio in my home. My future goals for my business is to be able to expand - I would love to have a commercial space where I can offer more treatments and hire a team of staff. I would also love to be able to teach medical aesthetics and make the course more available to young entrepreneurs who are wanting to expand their knowledge in this industry. There are no schools in my area to learn how to do this kind of work - most people have to travel to Vancouver or Alberta

Why do you deserve to win the Best Youth Entrepreneur Award?

These past few years I have worked really hard and put alot of time into building my business. These past few years during Covid there has been alot or uncertainty so it was very scary to take the jump to buy new equipment or invest in additional trainings but I am so glad that I did because my business has really grown over these years. I have more flexibility to enjoy time with my family and my husband can now be a stay at home dad to spend the most time with our kids
