Best Community Impact

What motivated you to start your business and what core cause do you support?

My father is a Small business owner himself and has been in business for about 40 years. Hoping to walk on the same lines as him, I always yearned to start something of my own – a business geared to provide superior service. Immigration is very important for Canadian economy and I want to contribute towards hiring and retaining the best talent to meet labor shortage demands. At the same time, I want to offer superior quality service to clients by essentially untangling the complexities of Canadian Immigration laws. Therefore, I decided to pursue this path and launch Orion Immigration services Ltd. I also volunteer my time and resources for helping and supporting various causes that are close to my heart i.e. integrating new immigrants into Canadian workforce, continuous learning and advancing and retaining Women in STEM & leadership positions.

Why do you deserve to win the Best Community Impact award?

2020 has been a hard year for individuals and businesses. To help and support others in this time, I have offer discount my fees, offered pro bono consultations for people in need and held free workshops to provide up to date information about immigration programs.
