Your Input Needed! Making It Easier to Do Business with the B.C. Government

As an outcome of the Small Business Accord, Minister of State for Tourism and Small Business Naomi Yamamoto recently appointed George Farkas as the executive lead of the “Small Business – Doing Business with Government Project” – and he wants your input!

Over the coming months Farkas will host two-hour lunch sessions in communities throughout BC to consult directly with business owners and operators and develop recommendations to make it easier for small businesses to compete for and win government contracts.

  • Victoria: October 17, 2013
  • Prince George: October 21, 2013
  • Dawson Creek: October 22, 2013
  • Kelowna: October 30, 2013
  • Terrace: November 12, 2013
  • Cranbrook: November 14, 2013
  • Smithers: November 19, 2013
  • Richmond: November 20, 2013

The goal of the “Small Business – Doing Business with Government Project” is to break down barriers and increase small business procurement by at least 20 per cent.
