What’s Happening in April 2020 at Small Business BC

Small Business BC’s top priority is the health and safety of our clients and staff. As a result, we are making some changes to how our services are delivered. Our offices are now closed to the public until May 1, when we will reassess. All of our seminars and advisory services will now be remote.

While our office doors remain closed for now, Small Business BC is here to help you this April with a range of supports, resources and webinars available online.

COVID-19 is top of mind this month, as entrepreneurs across our province continue to grapple with this rapidly changing situation. Start by reading our list of resources for small businesses affected by COVID-19. This document is updated each day as new resources come on stream. And, while we can’t meet in person, we are keeping our community together with our regular Digital Meetups. Held each Monday-Thursday at 11am, these community-led discussions will tackle a topic relating to COVID-19 and small business. Ask questions, share your concerns, and hear from business experts as we all face these challenging times together.

In April, we’ll be hosting all of our usual education remotely via webinar. Our webinars are hosted through Adobe Connect. If you’ve never attended an Adobe Connect webinar before, there are some quick steps to take to ensure you’re ready to go when you access the webinar. For information on how to test your setup and prepare for the webinar, please visit our Adobe Connect Information Page.
