Accessibility Resources for Business

Interested in making your business more accessible to those with disabilities? Not only is creating an accessible business the right thing to do, it can also help to fuel your business growth goals.

Nearly 10 percent of BC’s population identifies as having a disability. Not all these disabilities are visible outwardly, initially, or in ways you might assume. When you prioritize accessibility in your business, you can tap into a deeper pool of potential staff while also becoming a welcoming and valued community resource.

At Small Business BC, we’re increasing our accessibility – both for staff and our province-wide community. Through our partnership with the Presidents Group, we have prioritized accessibility in our resources and services, while acknowledging we still have progress to make.

Below, you can watch the inspiring story of our Director of Business Development, Roop Johal, and find dedicated resources and supports for creating a more accessible and equitable small business.
